“I’ve done Lucy’s course and it was just brilliant. It’s quite daunting at times because you’re going into courses and you don’t know who you’re going to meet. The best thing about Lucy’s was the honestly and the openness in the course. We all had questions, so the good thing about it is, it nearly always runs over because it’s so interactive. Everyone is open.

It was great to see so many different structures. The first day I thought, ‘Oh, this is easy’, because it was structured. The second day, it was more organic and I thought, ‘Oh my goodness’. Other courses I have taken were not as interactive and there was no banter. You are nearly sad when it’s over and you don’t want this course to end; even the social aspect of it is brilliant. There are people who come that have zero confidence and the others in the group make them feel welcome and help them out. And I think Lucy’s underselling the support she alone gives everybody. She’d never make you feel that like you’re a beginner. No question is too big or small.

I don’t know whether it’s the energy that obviously Lucy puts into her training, but everyone really just supports each other; and I just think for the world that we’re in, we’re all trying to do our best and it’s so good to see women really rooting for each other.

And after the course, if somebody had a job scheduled and have gotten sick, they put it in the group saying ‘Could anyone take this job?’ So you’re never short of work! We were all trained by Lucy, so know that the output would be good! And, I do think it’s not just the investment of €450 - it’s the long term investment. The support you get is phenomenal.”
