About Juicy Events

Juicy Events was founded by Lucy Mellon, a passionate balloon artist and event stylist with a love for creating beautiful and memorable celebrations.

In March 2026, Juicy Events will celebrate seven years in business, growing from a small creative venture into a trusted name for luxury balloon displays and professional balloon training in Ireland.

Lucy is a mother of one and has worked in the nightclub and events industry for many years, giving her a strong understanding of what it takes to create exciting and unforgettable events. Her experience ranges from intimate celebrations to large-scale events, including weddings, birthdays, christenings, communions, confirmations, and corporate occasions.

Alongside running Juicy Events, Lucy has continued to develop her business knowledge through education. She has completed courses in business start-up, digital marketing, and most recently Digital Business at Dublin Business School in 2025.

With a strong social media presence and a deep understanding of the event market, Lucy incorporates both creative design skills and practical business knowledge into her balloon training courses. Students not only learn how to create professional balloon displays but also gain insight into pricing, marketing, and building a successful balloon business.

Lucy remains passionate about both teaching others and creating beautiful, unique events, helping clients bring their visions to life while inspiring others to start their own creative journey in the balloon industry.
